Description
The floor-box unit is designed for integration into raised floors, cavity floors or hollow-core floors. It features a rectangular plastic housing in grey, sized for the L version of the range. The assembly includes the casing, mounting frames (adjustable in height in three positions), quick-fix lid with cable exit and strain-relief provisions. It is compatible with up to six modules from the Unica series (either 45 mm×45 mm single-modules or 45 mm×90 mm double-modules).
It carries protection ratings of IP24 (splash-water protection) and IK08 (mechanical impact resistance) in the plastic variant. The floor box is made from thermoplastic with a brushed finish, and is manufactured to be free of mercury and heavy-metals to align with sustainability goals.
In terms of dimensions, the unit measures 200 mm in width, 70 mm in height and 275 mm in depth (housing size “L”).
The mounting frame allows use of floor coverings up to about 6 mm thick under the lid. It is intended for commercial, office or education environments where modular power/data outlets at floor level simplify furniture layouts and wiring.
